Learning Objectives
The goal of the Agroforestry Application of Spatial Analisys and Geostatistics course is to give the opportunity at students to apply qualitative and quantitative information from spatial viewpoint. These information are preparatory for territorial planning and for the definition of decision support system in private and public sector.

Base elements of digital cartography. Raster representation. Map overlay and Tomlin operators. Development of cartographic model. Boolean maps. Focal analysis and filters: ecologic and geomorfologic indicators. Environmental economics: multifuncionality, externalities and Total Economic Value of environmental goods. Environmental appraisal: travel cost method, edonic price contingent valuation and cost-benefits analysis; financial matematics.
Multicriteria analysis: criteria and constraints. Normalisation: fuzzy logic and linear normalisation. Uncertainty in spatial analysis. Spatial analysis application.
