Learning Objectives - Part A
EDUCATIONAL GOALS
The Laboratory, deepening the architectural specificity of the Interior space, wants to inform what are the current trends in architectural culture and contemporary art. He wants to develop the analytical skills and appropriation of architectural space and the use of this through specialization in the required functions. It aims to provide communication skills and description of the project through the various techniques of representation, graphics and video art.

Prerequisites - Part A
PREREQUISITES
You require design concepts and assisted three-dimensional modeling through the use of software such as: Rhinoceros, Grashopper, Maya or 3D Studio.

Teaching Methods - Part A
TEACHING METHODS
The project experience starts from considerations and inputs to be acquired as poetic and literary expressions, such as to set a concept, a structure, capable of guiding the project from the very beginning to the end. The elaboration of the concept aims to devise a creative process, as the development of elements always closer to the architecture meanings, using computer tools, through which it is possible to model shapes, perform simulations of natural or artificial processes, untill the creation of architectural elements through phases and reviews.

Further information - Part A
RULES OF EXAMINATION - OTHER INFORMATION
The attendance to lessons and and tutorials is required.
The work and the final exam will be conducted in groups formed by up to three students.
Are required: 6 A1 panels + 1 Summary panel on rigid support (A1 format) + printed physical model scale 1: 250 (or scale to be determined) and video of the interior and exterior spaces of architecture.
The results of the two intermediate stages of verification will be evaluated together with project material on the final exam.

Type of Assessment - Part A
METHOD OF VERIFICATION OF LEARNING
The laboratory activities will be divided into 2 phases.
1st PHASE 2 exercises:
1) Powerpoint presentation on the "Concept" project (October 25);
2) Delivery of 2 panels (A1 format) INSIDE / OUTSIDE - THE ELEMENTS: first study and analysis of the spatial concept. (29 November).
2nd PHASE:
At the conclusion of the 2nd phase is expected a final Workshop. For the occasion is required for each group of students:
- a PORTFOLIO A3: draft and page layout of the final material.
- Verification of the implementation phase of the plastic and the video of the project.

Course program - Part A
EXTENDED PROGRAM
The theme of an architecture that supports spaces for musical events (in our case a natural open-air auditorium) is set up as the elaboration of an architectural system able to communicate, identify and characterize a place in itself full of meaning.
AIMS
a) To design a repertoire of indoor-outdoor spaces animated by central functions
b) Experience an excursion to the architectures modeled through a conceptual and digital simulation process.
c) Making the exhibit design experience
The proposed theme is the design and construction of a specialized building, a sensory machine of small size that allows a perception survey, visual and direct spaces and surrounding landscapes functionally characterized by service and support areas, such as box office, info point, exhibition spaces, reception areas, catering, and conference services. In this structure, intended as permanent, it can be connected a more lightweight and flexible enough to be used by the public to coincide with the theatrical events.
