The course of Sociology focuses on the social production of space. We will study what people do to and with architecture, taking special note of differences between space as intended by the designer and as interpreted by the users/inhabitants.
The class will be given a sense of what is the methodology to study this relationship; then some group fieldwork research projects will be proposed to the class. Students speaking English only are welcome.
