Quality Assurance

Schools coordinate the teaching activities (and related support services) provided by Bachelor’s Degree Programmes (L), Master’s Degree Programmes (LM), Single-Cycle Master’s Degree Programmes (LMCU), and Specialisation Schools. They also manage the related services to ensure a comprehensive, high-quality educational experience.

Schools are key actors in the University’s Quality Assurance System.

At School level, there is a Joint Teaching Staff-Student Committee (CPDS), which plays a fundamental role as a permanent monitoring and evaluation body for teaching activities, covering the entire educational offer.
The CPDS is central to student involvement in the Quality Assurance System, monitoring teaching activities and expressing opinions on the quality of student services; it may propose indicators for assessing outcomes and provides opinions on the establishment and discontinuation of Degree Programmes.

As part of the QA processes, the University has established the role of School Quality Assurance Coordinator, who works closely with the Quality Assurance Board, providing advice and support in the preparation of Quality Assurance documents, both at School level and for the Degree Programmes of the Departments affiliated with the School.
