Update the Syllabus

Entering course information (Syllabus) on the University website is important because:

• it is a fundamental service provided to students;
• it provides clear, detailed and complete information on the educational offer of each Degree Programme at the University;
• it is a legal requirement under the regulations governing transparency in Public Administration;
• it is a teaching responsibility, just like delivering classes, holding examinations and completing the teaching register;
• it is an important element considered by ANVUR in the evaluation of Degree Programmes.

The Syllabus must be entered through the U-GOV application:

1. log in to U-GOV using your University credentials (staff ID number beginning with D);
2. select Teaching -> Teaching Planning -> Syllabus to view the courses assigned to you and enter the course programmes and all other required information in both Italian and English;
3. if your courses were already offered in the previous academic year, click Copy texts and U-GOV will automatically copy the texts from the previous year, which you can then edit as needed;
4. confirm by clicking Save.

The field “Contents (Diploma Supplement)” has a maximum limit of 600 characters, including spaces. The other fields have no character limit.
