Recognition of an External Course

Students who already hold a certificate from a safety training course must send an email to formazione.sicurezza@spp.unifi.it for assessment, attaching the relevant certificate. The Prevention and Protection Service will reply to your institutional email address.

• Partial recognition of an external safety course: General Training
  If only the General Training completed externally is recognised, it is necessary to attend the Specific Risk Training course organised by the School.

Students must register independently through the Events Portal once the Internship Office has enabled their student ID number for registration.

• Full recognition of an external safety course: General Training + Specific Training
  If both the General Training and the Specific Training are recognised, the email confirming recognition of the external course sent by the Prevention and Protection Service (SPP) will ensure the full validity of the certificate within the University.

PLEASE NOTE: Students who complete the General Training at the University of Florence must complete the training process by undertaking the Specific Training within the University.
