Course program - Part A
The course aims, in its first part, to address the most relevant historical and theoretical issues of the discipline (ancient aesthetics, the beautiful, the birth of modern aesthetics, the judgment). A second part will focus on the relationship between aesthetics and design (the problem of the goods, the link between form and function, aesthetic theories on the design). A final part has a monographic character and has as its theme the aesthetics of Andy Warhol.
