Objectives of the course
The course aims to enhance the importance of the protection of creativity and innovation with reference to copyright and design, analyzing the various tools for the protection of the form provided for by the Italian legal system and by community and international legislation.
Course program
1. The legal institution of designs: the "typical" protection of industrial design;
2. The legal protection of design in Community law;
3. Copyright and authorial protection applied to design;
4. the importance of the brand and the legal regulation of the brand;
5. design and brand as the highest expression of Made in Italy excellence: outline of the legislation regarding the origin of goods;
6. Protection of intellectual property on the internet.
During the course of the course there will be exercises in order to make students familiar with the tools of protection of creativity, design and brand.
