THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE CITY, understood as the "construction of the city over time", is at the center of the research conducted by the Design Studio. The morphological and typological analysis of a fragment of the city of Lucca is deepened with the aim of "compensating" the urban fabric for the consequences of a demolition planned during the Ventennio and completed only in the post-war period, in a historical, social, and economic context completely changed.
