Course topics are the role of knowledges and methodological tools of ergonomics in the design process and development of industrial products, and content and mode of application of some of the main methods for usability assessment in the design field .

Lessons objectives are the deepening theoretical and methodological contents of Ergonomics in Design and their testing on specific project issues.
The objective of the workshop is to provide methodological and operational tools needed to assessment and design of usability in design of industrial products.

Course program
Course topics are the knowledges and the methodological tools of Ergonomics in the Design and their application in the project o a industrial product.
The theoretical contents and application of Ergonomics in Design will be deepened by exposure and discussion of case studies, aimed to the development of design subjects
Laboratory activities include the development of a design experience that, starting from the principles and contents of the User-Centered Design, can integrate the tools of analysis and ergonomic assessment in the design and development process of industrial products.
Through the project will also be checked the basic knowledges about "Human factors", that will be treated considering the physical, cognitive - perceptual and social interaction users-product-environment.
